Your memory is all I seek. Breathing and touching. Smoking and toking. Solid. Firm. Fumbling and stumbling. Life is awkward enough. Life is precious enough. Missing you is a lasting thing. It never leaves. Hoping things get better ❤️‍🩹 knowing things can get better. Higher than a star. Beyond the atmosphere. They say he is watching. Waiting. I know you are here though. Together we can. Divided is this. We want to be right. We really are wrong. In the time of my youth, I was taught what it means to be a merican. In this time that I live I realize no one is doing the best they can. And no one wants to try since that means doing things that help their fellow human. Swell times, hard times, it’s always it’s bad to share. Our economic and religious systems are Disneyland. Our reality is really sad. As long as not everyone is doing good we’re good. Everyone can’t have money, good, shelter, energy. That’s impossible! For god can do whatever he wants except heat a burrito so hot he can’t eat it. We can’t do all things though Christ who gives us strength. What can’t we do? End war, famine, violence, drug addiction, homelessness, sex trafficking, crime, alcoholism, all the bad things that we are-all these things we can’t do or else we would do them. What can we do? Look around, he works in mysterious ways.
