Sometimes when we look at people who are currently where we want to be, we think "they've always been successful" or "they've never been through something; they don't understand". Sometimes it's hard to see that the people who are doing amazing may have come from very difficult backgrounds themselves. The human brain has the capacity to overcome so much and we have the ability to hit the "reset" button or the "override" button anytime. But how often do you do that? How often do you say "I messed up but I'm starting over right now" versus "I'll try again tomorrow" or "I'm a failure". As long as you're trying, you are not a failure. In this episode I share a bit about my struggles with consistency and how my mindset varies from one thing I love to another and how that impacts my results. Mindset, the way we look at something and what we tell ourselves about that thing goes a long way to our ultimate success or failure at whatever it is we're working on.
