Our brain is constantly offering us thousands of thoughts every single day. These thoughts come from all the information we see, we hear, and we experience. Sometimes we think that when a thought is offered by our brains, we somehow are responsible for that thought; even if the thought offered isn’t something we want to keep because of the way it makes us feel. To make it worse, we might think that it’s our fault for having that thought offered to us in the first place, and so we make ourselves wrong for it.
Our brains are constantly thinking. That’s what they are designed to do. But we have the power to accept or decline the thoughts that our brains offer to us. And we can do this without turning it into a whole dramatic, shameful thing.
On this episode we will be discussing the fact that our brains are the creators of all our thoughts, not us. Our responsibility is to choose the thoughts we want to let in and let go of the ones we don't. I will share 6 tips that will help you learn how to be more intentional on the thoughts you choose to keep.
