"If someone had told me 20 years ago this is where I would be in my life right now, I would have said, “No way could I survive that," but here I am surviving every day.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother, with a busy life. I have a full time job in talent acquisitions for a global software company and have a fulfilling side business as a Plexus Brand Partner.
The events of the past 9 months have propelled me towards a new journey. In December of 2023 our beautiful son Jonathan took his life. Jonny was on the autism spectrum and suffered through extreme bullying. Our hearts were shattered, but I also knew I needed to make sense of this pain, and fight to make sure other families do not experience a tragedy like this. And so, our nonprofit, Jonny’s Flight was born.
Together we can bring awareness to the epidemic of bullying and suicide, enact legislation to enforce accountability and foster an environment where children can achieve their goals.

Sometimes in life you meet a kindred spirit. Kim Kinsfather is one of those people. She and her husband Rob are one of the most resilient, positive couples I know. They have an entrepreneurial spirit and it won’t be denied.
Years ago they set out to find the business that would create the life of their dreams. They got in rooms. They would not allow the word “can’t” in their family. It was considered a bad word. They went through the hard things of investing, failing, losing it all and still not giving up on their dream. They lived in their significance no matter their circumstances.
They kept investing in themselves, they kept developing relationships. They finally found the right opportunity and now they have a nationally expanding water filtration business.
I knew Kim before the big success came, while she was still believing with grit. Kim also has overcome health issues that would have her stuck in the bed or having to ask her kids to stay quiet due to chronic migraines. It’s amazing what addressing our health has to do with the rest of our life. It all overlaps. It all matters.
Kim has taught me my dreams matter. Never give up. Keep being the sweet, loving, perseverant human with all the seeds of greatness inside, popping out and blooming as God created them too.
