Dear Soul,
Happy Spring Equinox! What a time to be alive and open to adventure!
I am always fascinated by each new place I am brought to. Each city. Every home. The environment. Every one holds unique energies. Messages. Healings. Elevations of spirit and soul.
My latest move has me in a ‘9’ home (symbolizing completions). The street ‘Outer Banks’ is symbolic of the far reaches (of self).
And, you know what I discovered? My community was built within a quarry.
My immediate first thought was… what is taken from the source and made individual; and then used for a greater purpose.
We are all from the Great One Design, individualized and utilized for a specific purpose; and given the exact people, places and things to do so.
Spiritually, a quarry symbolizes resilience and inner strength. It represents overcoming obstacles and emerging stronger. It calls for individuals to connect with inner talents, gifts, and resources; to face life's challenges with determination.
It is important to remember that we came for ‘mastery’. This means that we are continually called to expand, discover, and embody more capability and creativity. It also means learning how to continually embody joy, peace and presence regardless of what appears. Mining is rhythmic, drilling within the same place other than reach the core. We must continually mine for Essence.
Just as stones are carefully selected and shaped for a specific purpose, we are each chosen and molded. The Christian Bible states in 1 Peter 2:5, "living stones" being built into a spiritual house. In other spiritual traditions, quarries are seen as sacred sites that connect the physical and spiritual realms; the mining and merging of human to soul.
Life’s divine orchestration brings all separate parts together for the purposes.
You might be saying, ‘What does that have to do with me? I don’t live in a quarry.’ True, but we all are given opportunity to live in the ‘inquiry’ which has the same spiritual significance, power, and symbolism of a ‘quarry’.
Within a quarry/inquiry lay the potential for transformation and renewal, where raw materials are extracted and shaped into something beautiful, or of greater worth. This mirrors the spiritual journey. Our gifts are within our earthen ground. Talents exist within you that you never knew you had. They are to be mined, discovered, shaped and shared. Life supports by shaping and molding us through experience so that the refining of character and purpose takes place.
Spiritually, a quarry/inquiry points to the uncovering of one's true self, connecting with Essence, and undergoing transformative experiences that ultimately connect us with divine nature.
This kind of transformation is possible when continually opening to life’s cycles of birth, death and rebirth… in other words moving from home to home… or identification to identification... identity to identity.
Spiritual rebirth requires letting go of each iteration, culling the rich nuggets from which to build something magnificent and unknown.
But, this means we must be willing to dig far beneath the surface of things… of ourselves… of our wants… and our personal wills. It requires an even greater mining of self, and self-reflection, for newfound strength and clarity. It is necessary to not cling to anything, but to truly see ourselves as ‘unlimited’.
Homes play a major role in shaping this awakening. The Law of Attraction is at work in bringing each space and place. You are always brought into places that match your field. You and the place come together to create healing. For you. For the home. For the history that rests there. Your relationship within that place will tell you something about the relationship to yourself.
The light of a place holds the leaden weight of our darkness.
Regard your home(s) patience. With care. With reverence. With sacredness. They are hospitals, and places of hospitality. They are where you heal, and reveal. To reconcile the darkness and light of a place ripples healing through space and time. Therein is balance.
The darkness of a place holds the radiating ember of our light.
Never rush to leave any place. The frenzy, agitation, or boredom that arrises to leave a place is the symbol that you are on the verge of healing something for yourself and the home. The longing, wanting, or needing to be elsewhere are how you may be running from yourself. Stay present to where you are. Let the space heal you, as you heal it. You will know when you are complete because there will be neutrality, tremendous gratitude, and joy.
Enjoy this episode of ‘You are the Journey’… I share some amazing experiences within past homes. These are mystical moments that prove we are not alone… that time is an illusion… and there is no separation.
This home… this quarry… is calling me to more of myself… more creative expression and greater service. I feel called to support individuals in maintaining and mining self and soul, while still being in this ever-changing world. I will share more in the next broadcast; I am still in the inquiry/quarry!
