Beautiful and heartwarming
I read this book with my 6-year old daughter. Here's what she thought: "It's awesome! My favorite part was the end. Growly is a kind bear. This book would be good for kids who are 5 years old or older. I loved it!!!!!"
Love this book!
I've been looking for books to read aloud to my 4 and 6 year olds. This book was wonderful! Adventure and friendship, I enjoyed reading it myself! I also loved that I didn't have to edit as I read. Some books have scary elements or negative elements that I don't like but this was perfect. I did cut out some details when I noticed my kids getting fidgety. This would be a perfect chapter book for older kids for sure.
Excellent read-aloud!
Amazing adventure for young listeners. Wonderful family read. Truly enjoyed this sweet story and can't wait to keep the journey going,
We love Growly!!!
My son loves the Growly series! He is 5, but reads at a much higher level so I have had a very difficult time finding books that are not too easy, but still content-appropriate for him to read. The Growly books are engaging, exciting, meaningful, and provokes imagination and deep thought. My son talks to me about Growly and the other characters throughout the day, and is always eager to pick up a Growly book to read about what will happen next!
I had big hopes for this book, but we ...
I had big hopes for this book, but we never even finished it. I didn't think the romantic relationship was necessary and it detracted from the adventure story.
