Have you ever known how you wanted to handle a situation—and still ended up reacting in a way you regretted?
That happened to me this week.
After six weeks apart, my husband came home from a long trip, and I really wanted our reunion to feel loving and light.
I even used The unSTUCK Method and The CLEAR Way beforehand to help me get there.
And for a while, it worked.
Until it didn't.
In this episode, I share what happened when frustration I thought I had worked through came back up, how I got emotionally stuck again, and what I did next.
Because this work isn't about handling every moment perfectly.
It's about knowing what to do when you don't.
You can get unstuck.
You can repair.
You can make a different choice in the next moment.
And you can do better when you know how.

What does it really mean to handle a difficult conversation well?
In this episode, I share a real-life story about a conversation I had with my son's coach.
My son wanted to move into an older training group. The coach didn't agree. And before I ever picked up the phone, I knew there was a good chance I wouldn't get the answer I wanted.
So instead of just going into the conversation and hoping I'd handle it well, I prepared myself first.
I'll share how I used The CLEAR Way to get clear about what I wanted, accept what I couldn't control, and decide who I wanted to be in the conversation.
Because handling something well doesn't mean getting your way.
It means being able to walk away knowing you showed up the way you wanted to show up.
If you've ever had to go into a conversation where there was tension, disagreement, or the possibility of hearing "no," this episode is for you.

Have you ever decided not to go somewhere because you felt like you didn't belong?
That almost happened to me this week.
I was standing outside a women's gathering, looking through the window, convinced I didn't belong inside. I was older than most of the women, barely knew the people there, and felt completely out of place.
But then a friend said, "What the heck. Let's go."
I'm so glad I did.
In this episode of Emotionally Unstuck, I share what happened when I walked through that door, the story I had been believing about myself, and what I discovered about the feeling of not belonging.
Sometimes what keeps us stuck isn't what's actually happening.
It's what we believe is happening.
Consider that you belong.

Because getting stuck is human. Learning how to get unstuck is a practice.
What does it actually mean to be emotionally stuck?
In this episode, I'm sharing why I've renamed the podcast Emotionally unSTUCK—and why, in many ways, this change feels like coming home.
After ten years of teaching and coaching The unSTUCK Method®, I finally found the language to describe what I had been seeing all along: We get caught in feelings, thoughts, and behaviors that pull us away from the people we want to be.
We get emotionally stuck.
And when we get emotionally stuck, we lose ourselves.
In this episode, I'll help you begin recognizing what emotional stuckness looks like in everyday life, why getting stuck is different from simply experiencing a difficult emotion, and how recognizing that you're stuck can create the possibility for something incredibly important: choice.
I'll also share what you can expect from Emotionally unSTUCK going forward as I return to sharing real-life stories, practical teachings, and The unSTUCK Method to help you find your way back to yourself.

In this unexpected episode, I share a powerful and heartfelt message from a student whose life has been deeply impacted by The unSTUCK Method®.
What began as a simple note about "anchors" becomes a moving reflection on how the work has helped her build a meaningful and compassionate relationship with herself. The student describes feeling more grounded, more confident, and noticing positive changes in how others respond to her—all without trying to be someone different.
This episode highlights the true transformation that comes from doing the work and serves as an invitation to explore what's possible for you, too.

In this episode, I share a deeply personal story about choosing not to attend a friend's mourning period during a time of war—and the intense guilt that followed. I walk you through the inner conflict between wanting to be a supportive friend and honoring my own fear and safety. Using The unSTUCK Method®, I process my thoughts, challenge the stories my mind created, and shift toward self-compassion and acceptance. Ultimately, the episode highlights that guilt isn't resolved externally through reassurance—but internally through awareness and choice. It's an invitation to release what we're holding onto and move forward with peace.

In this episode, I share a powerful reflection from a live coaching session inside my program, Living Deliberately, during a time of real-life uncertainty and challenge.
We explore the idea that feeling overwhelmed, emotional, or "off track" isn't a setback—it's part of being human.
You'll learn why you're not meant to feel good all the time, and how creating stories around your emotions is what keeps you stuck.
Instead, I'll guide you toward handling life one moment at a time with self-compassion, using the tools you already have.
This episode is a reminder that you can handle anything—without needing to be perfect. www.shiragura.com
In this short episode, I share about a "mistake" I made and what I did to move forward.

This week, I noticed a common theme across all my programs: students committing to change, then falling off track and spiraling into shame, guilt, and regret.
When you snap at someone, break a commitment, or act against your values, it feels black and white – like you've failed and there's no hope.
But here's what most people miss: falling off your path isn't an obstacle, it's an opportunity.
In this episode, I share why uncovering the hidden thought that caused your behavior is the real game-changer, and how using The unSTUCK Method to find that "piece of gold" is what actually creates lasting change in your life.

Have you ever needed to make a decision, but your mind simply won't let you? You go back and forth, that little voice keeps saying "wait, what if..." and you end up paralyzed, not making any decision at all.
In this episode, I share a real conversation with one of my students who was struggling with her retirement decision - but this isn't really about retirement. It's about understanding why your brain does this (hint: it's trying to protect you), and how to work WITH your mind instead of fighting against it so you can finally make decisions with confidence.
