This week, we discuss the book “I Kissed Dating Goodbye,” written by Joshua Harris. For millennials growing up in evangelical culture, this book has a major influence on our views of modesty, gender, dating, and marriage. We provide a critique, share how it impacted our own lives, and Christian culture at large. Spoiler alert: the author has since apologized and gone on his own journey of deconstruction! We love to see it.
Bible verses discussed:
Matthew 5:27-30
Ephesians 5:3
2 Samuel 11
