You Can't Put Grief on Your Content Calendar | Solo Entry 6

Listen Later

I’ve been thinking about timing lately and about the things that happen to use that don’t make sense until much later. Around the same time as my grandpa passed away, my dog also was diagnosed with cancer. Through all of it, I kept running my business — marketing, selling, showing up and doing the entrepreneur thing. Until I wasn’t able to even do that fully anymore. It wasn’t until months later, when everything slowed down, that the grief caught up to me. A dream brought it up to the surface and it made me wonder if I was avoiding it or I just didn’t have the capacity to feel it all at the same time. And did it have to pule up that much before something in me finally broke?

This episode is a reflection on grief, timing, and the quiet cost of staying in motion especially as a creative business owner who’s used to pushing through. Listen for an honest look at why we can’t schedule healing the way we schedule a launch, and why what hasn’t happened for you yet might not mean somethings wrong but might just not be the time.
