Being strong means not needing anyone else’s support, doing it all on your own, and receiving any assistance makes you weak... Right? Although this couldn’t be further from the truth, if you tell yourself this enough times, your subconscious starts to believe it! This negative and self-limiting thought pattern is one that a lot of us naturally hold deep in our souls as we struggle through adversity. Learning to embrace humility gives us the courage to release any thoughts of shame, break down those walls against vulnerability that we’ve built around ourselves, and allows us to realise the truth - accepting help is a strength, not a weakness!
