For thousands of years, if you wanted to talk to God, you had to travel to a temple. Bring a perfect sacrifice. Hand your prayer to a stranger and hope they got it right.
Most people couldn't even get close. Barriers everywhere. Gender barriers. Ethnic barriers. Purity barriers. One priest, one day a year, could enter God's presence. And if he messed up, he died.
Then Jesus changed everything.
Pastor Daniel reveals what the disciples missed at the Last Supper: "Whatever you ask the Father in my name, He will give you." They didn't understand what was about to happen. In a few hours, Jesus would tear down every barrier between you and God.
No more temple. You are the temple. No more sacrifice. Jesus was the final sacrifice. No more priest. You are a royal priest with direct access to the Father.
You don't need to wait for Sunday. You don't need permission from a pastor. You don't need to clean yourself up first. Monday morning when you wake up, God is just as close as He was in church. Middle of the night when terror hits, He's waiting for you to draw near.
