This week has been incredibly hard.
My dog has been struggling with anxiety, chronic pain, and reactivity, and we had to take him in for bloodwork because his pain isn’t being managed.
And in that appointment, our vet saw me.
Really saw how hard things have been.
And I cried… through the rest of the appointment and all the way home.
At the same time, my daughter’s dog—our former family dog—took an unexpected turn and passed away.
So this isn’t a conversation about being perfectly regulated or “handling life well.”
This is about something much more real:
👉 building a strong enough internal baseline
so you can feel everything
and still stay with yourself through it
