What if one day you have unplugged your earphones from your ear, disconnected yourself on social media and all you’ve got is silence? Suddenly, things surfaced and you are faced with mixed feelings of fear, boredom, restlessness, or even anger? But soon as you bask on silence, you have discovered that there is something more. A deep desire to be filled or a longing for joy. You want to do something greater than yourself even to the point of sacrificing the things you love. In this episode, I had an opportunity to chat with James Villanueva, a guidance counsellor but most of all a lay consecrated member of Notre Dame de Vie, a secular institute. He is a consecrated person which means he has a greater commitment to live a life fully to God. We talked on vocation, developing a healthy spiritual life and everything in between.
