This week I talk with student Gabriel Lewis at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater about what makes his pairing music studies and physics so harmonious. He also asks me some of the questions you've been asking in the mailbag.

This week I chat with Dr. Cora Swenson Lee. She is currently serving as Instructional Assistant Professor of Cello at Illinois State University. She also is a cellist and baroque cellist who performs actively around the United States. She holds a Doctorate of Music in Cello Performance and Bachelors Degree in Cello Performance with highest distinction from the Eastman School of Music, as well as a Masters Degree in Cello Performance from Boston University College of Fine Arts.

This week my special guest is Professor of Cello at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Tido Janssen. Tido has traveled the world playing cello and gives us some insights to performing and networking at cello camps.

On this Earth Day addition of Cello Chat, I talk to Anna Clift, professor of cello at St. Olaf College. She gives us some insights into the Seattle Youth Symphony as well as some stellar advice on avoiding practice fatigue. 

This week I chat with Dr. Karla Hamelin, professor, and cellist extraordinaire at Texas State University. She has taught masterclasses throughout North America and is giving some great advice on skill sets with the cello.

This week I’m proud to have a teacher from Palatine High School’s music department, Dung Pham. She tells us the journey she has taken to be a teacher at a Chicago area school along with some helpful motivation skills.
