Transforming Perspectives |
Humanity’s need is to connect to the Creator, God who draws us by touching or speaking to our hearts.
God designed the  heart as a dichotomously functioning vital organ.  Its every beat is paced with the flow of opening valves pumping life through the body’s veins. 
Biblically, the heart is the essence of our being and is the well spring of the soul.   Often referred as the inner man connoting the seat of our emotions, conscience, and strength of our will and tenacity.  Yet, its  psyche-physiological pseudonym is defined in scripture as exceedingly wicked, who can know it?
God purposes to give us new hearts in Jesus Christ who is the cure and deliverer for stony hearts,  deceiving hearts, misbelieving hearts, proud hearts, and broken hearts.
Biblical  Principle |
Man‘s heart is the essence of his inner being and is designed to seek God its Creator and respond in acknowledgment to his drawing.
Psalms 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Transforming Perspectives |
God calls believers to be spiritually attuned to hear and respond to his voice. Hearing does not require physical ears. The voice of God is heard spiritually and its efficacy is understanding in lessons learned through obedience.  Hearing firstly entails God drawing men closer and means to stand at attention, to allow the words spoken to enter the perceptions of understanding and to harken his voice in mood, tone and intent of the words and react in obedience.
Biblically, having hearing ears is not a onetime enactment instead is the spiritual efficacy of God’s spoken word embodied in continual acts of obedience and doing  God’s will in every circumstance.

Biblical Principle |
Hearing the voice of God is preeminent to obedience and understanding.
Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Transforming Perspectives |
A spiritual milestone for believers is having grown experientially in Jesus Christ, and maturing in faith reflecting in the ability to begin to see as God sees, meaning understanding in wisdom the things of God.
Apostle John, the beloved disciple of Christ  witnessed the martyrdom of his fellow disciples, writes a stalwart letter of affirmation of faith, pertinent for believers today.
John  solidifies the evidences of their persevering hope by reminding them of the great works of God seen with their eyes, encouraging them to stand in the knowledge of those truths bearing the necessity to share the love of God to all men.

Seeing eyes recognize God’s truths and believe.

Transforming Perspectives |
 The Call of God is threefold; a calling or drawing, a choosing or the chosen and an election or the elect.  Do not be fooled these terms are neither a distinction of specialness nor preferential.
Truthfully, the distinction  is how we respond to God’s drawing or calling often  referred metaphorically as spiritually knocking on our hearts. 
All are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ.  The chosen are believers who have answered and have been converted. The elected refers to believers who have remained in sanctification, being set apart and used for service for the LORD.

Apostle Peter encourages us to remain in Jesus Christ in sanctification and godliness, solidifying our calling and election.   
 2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Transforming Perspective
God sent his Love to the world, Jesus Christ.   
The Love of God in Jesus Christ is  shared in experiences personal to every believer, and is unconditional and incomparable to human or earthly comprehension.
Jesus’ Love is humble and meek though He is God the Son, the Almighty.
His Love compassionately understands each of us,  in spite of the circumstances of our lives.
His Love having  paid the price of sin’s penalty of death having died for every sinner.
Love enabled Jesus Christ to rise from the grave by the power of God  so that resurrection into eternal life is available to all humanity. 
Biblical Principle
God sent his Love into the world.
John 3:16-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Transforming Perspective |

Understanding the significance of Holiness which is a spiritual condition and position in Jesus Christ before God. 
Apostle Paul emphasizes, a believer’s body  belongs to the LORD, being made a temple of God, holy  and acceptable. Believers are to be kept undefiled meaning clean of the profanities of worshipping false gods and worldly lusts being sanctified, purified and consecrated by God who sets us apart from the rudiments of the world.   

GOD designated believers as a royal priesthood sharing in the heavenly calling for service to the LORD for spiritual worship and good works.

Biblical Principle  | God asserts and declares us to be Holy; 
1 Peter 1:15-16 - But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;  Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am Holy.

Transforming Perspective - Understanding  the inter-dynamics of Belief.   Most people believe GOD exists BUT it is insufficient, alone.   
Belief in GOD is believing the truths of Scriptures and of His Son, Jesus Christ.   
Belief is an upward continuum of faith and trust in GOD’s supremacy over everything.  The phenomena of believing GOD is acknowledging the miraculous.  However, it is NOT mind over matter which is self-dependency.  Our belief in action is increasing reliance, leaning and depending upon the LORD who has all power and authority and trusting Him in every scenario of trials and difficult circumstances, personally, in our families and in the world. 

Biblical Principal - Mark 9:23 - Believe GOD Can Do Anything.   All things are possible or become to existence with GOD, when we connect our belief in GOD with His word and  promises in a relationship with him in Jesus Christ.

Courage is drawing upon the strength of Jesus Christ through Prayer.   An acknowledgment of His  power and authority over all circumstances.   An action not of weakness but of taking courage, cheerful waiting on the LORD, Jesus Christ talking to Him,  learning  to draw upon and lean Him.   So to become sturdy, resting in His sovereign will.

Call upon the Lord is a prayer not only for help but acknowledges his Lordship over all things.

Transforming Perspectives  |
God determined the Way for man to be accepted by Him and to enter Heaven by his Grace in Jesus Christ.   The Tower of Babel was not only evidence of the futility of men’s attempt to reach God or heaven by self righteousness and self-determination but also of God’s compassionate mercy who disrupted their erroneous judgment. 
GOD is HOLY!   Only the holy and righteous covering of GOD, Jesus Christ will protect man in the presence of God’s  Holiness, revealed as a consuming fire. 

Biblical Principles -  John 10-1:10 -Jesus Christ is the Way, the Shepherd and Gate leading us through the narrows of holiness and righteousness, presenting us acceptable to GOD.
