i returned home from visiting Edward’s grave, i put on this piece of music, C-tune – Henry Flynt, after my friend Steffi originally suggested Eliane Radigue… but I found I only had her music on mp3, so I looked through the cd shelf and found this. You can hear the tambura providing a background, coaxing and encouraging, lifting and then the electric violin slashing on the top, moving up and down, crashing up and down, fighting, kissing, flying, barely waiting but always moving; edward partly in key, in tune, sometimes straying but never too far away, always that tug, that grit, smiling edge, pulling, pushing, pulling, pushing, come here, follow me, stay with me, hold me while we’re wondering at how much we are teetering
