For the humble loyal listener like yourself it was just three weeks apart that Jasper and Cory watched two films from the the franchise known as Lupin III, however those two movies were actually made 37 years appart! Will the franchise stick to what it knows or has it evolved with the times? Jasper has an idea he think will be funny and Cory tries a new segment.

Hosts Cory and Jasper are absolutely befuddled by Garry Marshall and his hyper-love for New Year's Eve. Does anyone love this nothing holiday as much as the late director? We doubt it. Your hosts Cory and Jasper share their thoughts on the wonderfully weird independednt horror/sci-fi film, "Donnie Darko." Should they have watched this movie in October as a Halloween movie? Would that have been more seasonally appropriate? Probably. Do they care? Yeah, so stop bringing it up and listen to this episode, ya jerk.

Imagine walking into an arcade in the 1980's and passing by boring old machines like pac-man, Donkey Kong Jr., or dig-dug. Then, suddenly, you round the corner and a game shining like it was sent down from the heavens from a sweet, merciful god.....who also loved violence and a good old fashioned beat down. That game was known as Fatal Fury. Now imagine you never played that game and watched the movie 22 years after it was released in theatres. Thats what Cory and Jasper did this week!

Jasper and Cory delve into the film career of another SNL legend this week with the Chevy Chase-centric comedy(?), Fletch. The hosts struggle to find the laughs in this so-called classic. A dog actually says the word "what" in this movie, so maybe that will give you some indication of how strange and all over the place it is. Cory goes to jail in the middle of the episode.

Jasper and Cory take a trip to Tokyo with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. There's fun to be had, karaoke to be poorly sung, and a certain song that is near and dear to the hosts's hearts makes a surprise appearance.

Jasper didn't start editing the podcast until Tuesday. He has two exams on Wednesday. Think fast, Otaku's, how much of his sanity does Jasper have to sacrifice to put this episode out on time AND pass his tests? Who knows! More importantly, the hosts kick off a series of Anime MOVIE reviews. The first being Akira!
