Paul wrote that to live is Christ (Philippians 1:21). Our purpose for living is to submit to Christ’s will for our lives while making Christ known to others. Too many times we forget that living for Christ necessitates that we first die to self. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
