Who's in the bathroom now?

大概是麗絲在淋浴。
bathroom 之所以能譯成「盥洗室」、「浴室」、「廁所」, 是因為在西方,這些東西都在同一間bathroom裡。
要問別人「廁所在哪裡?」時，若說Where is the toilet?就 太沒格調了，最好說成 Where is the bathroom?或是May use(注意，不是borrow!) the bathroom?，特別是在別人 家的時候。還有，餐廳、飯店或是大樓裡的洗手間，也可以用washroom 和rest room。
take a shower (淋浴)和take a bath(泡澡)都用到動詞 take。以下幾個用到take的例句，各位可以試著體會它們的 意思:
I took a quick shower before going out.
 (我在出門前很快地沖了一下澡。)
He died while taking a cold shower.
(他在沖冷水澡的時候死了。)
Mary always takes a long, hot bath when she is tired.
(瑪麗疲倦的時候,總會花很長的時間泡熱水澡。)
