Today we enter into the moc trial of Jesus by the chief priests and elders. Questioning His authority as Messiah and His relationship with God as the Son of God! Jesus knows their hearts though and understands that they must paint a nasty portrait of Him before the people in order to be able to kill Him! So, they begin the "entertainment" of His trial seeking to sway the crowd by emotion (rhetoric) to side with them in destroying Jesus, and they shall win for man is so easily knocked off course of the truth by being entertained!
