In this episode I sit down with a friend of mine who identifies within the LGBTQ+ community. We sit down to discuss their experience within the community and topics that surround the community. I would like to explicitly say that I am not a professional in any field which is why I seek out different people who have first hand experiences, with that being said there may be times where I make assumptions as I am trying further my understanding by asking questions that I am curious about. My intention is not to offend any one person but rather facilitate a safe space where we are able to have difficult discussions about topics that are prevalent to society as a whole. Although, my intent is genuine I recognize that some people may perceive it in a different light because we all process information through our lived experience. My hope is that this podcast will further your knowledge about a community that many people don’t have access to. This is the lived experience by one person in the community and while they are apart of the same community no one person has the same lived experience meaning that this podcast is only a piece of that puzzle.

In this episode I sit down with an individual that was able to persevere through violence and hardships coming out of the other side a better person. I do not promote violence in this podcast but rather think it's important to understand the lives of our fellow humans who have had a difficult upbringing. With this knowledge it will further our understanding of each other and bring us closer together.
