Being an adult is not complicated. It's the overwhelming majority of most people's existence. Your problem is that you still think there shouldn't be any rules, standards, or consequences. But that's called chaos. There's only a select few people that thrive in chaos, and trust me when I tell you, you don't want to go up against them. Give your life structure, rules, discipline, and boundaries. Things will change quickly.
