Jon is a business leader, bestselling author, speaker, and podcaster. He is the co-founder, president & CEO of Peak Demand Inc., a manufacturer of products for electrical utilities. 

He is a former U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Officer who made seven deployments during the end of the Cold War. Prior to starting Peak Demand, he led eight different manufacturing businesses for three global companies. 

He is the author of three bestselling leadership books and the host of the Deep Leadership podcast.

In this episode Jon shares with us one of the most important keys to his success - the identification of a true need in an industry and the development of a value proposition that completely solves the problem and fulfills the need.  He carved out a business in an area that was severely lacking.

Jon also shares the importance of surrounding yourself with people that have skillsets you don’t, and then trusting them and letting them take the lead in their strengths.

Jon shares with us some failures that led him to stay true to their mission and staying in their lane.  We as Entrepreneurs have a tendency to go for that shiny penny and if not properly aligned and enough due diligence, can have drastic effects on your business.
