The Liberal Party has been decimated in the federal election, while the Nationals were able to maintain almost all their seats.
Peter Fegan asked Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie on 4BC Breakfast, "Given the damage to the Liberal Party, has there been any discussion of some type of separation?"

"Well, you'll have to ask the Liberal Party," Senator McKenzie continued.
