This week we played another game, the wonderful card game MetaGame, which we heartily recommend to anyone who loves video games. This week we decided to turn the podcast into a game show! We played a Reddit inspired game where we described a game from the point of view of a non-playable character. The contestants were John, Derrick, Calder, Taylor and Stanley. It was a hard fought battle but there was a clear victor. Listen to the episode to find out who was victorious. Next week: mustaches.

The Chicago Teachers Union sponsored an "Education Summit on School Closings" on December 8 at Marshall High School (on Chicago's West Side). According to the CTU website:

"The meeting... provide[d] training to school leaders on how they can engage the broader community against increasing charter school initiatives and pending school closings by Chicago Public Schools (CPS)."

High School students Marroz and Lucy were there. Here is their report.
