It's Tangent Time! If this is your first tangent here is a quick explanation... Way back in Season 2 Taylor was out of town at a conference but the group decided to record anyway. In that season everyone had a problem with going off on tangents and not sticking to the planned topic of discussion. So the idea was to do a podcast of all tangents to see what would happen. Well, it was an interesting podcast. It started off light and funny and then went to a dark place with a rant of epic proportions from former LoGer Leo. We decided the tangent was an interesting experiment and we now produce one tangent a season. We walk into the studio with absolutely no plan for the conversation and record one straight hour of unfiltered LoGiness.

In past tangents we have gotten seriously off the topic of video games but this time we actually produced one of the best discussions of games in the podcast's history. Get ready for talk about the lack of summer gaming blockbusters and a dissection of gaming reviews where we lay out our plans for the future of gaming criticism.

First up we have Byrd's Nest in which we discuss video games as a platform for journalism. In News Conference we talk about game theory - and this is where we loose our minds. All we can say is watch the video below the podcast audio and talk amongst yourselves. Finally in Personal Choice we talk about video games we would never want to live out in real life.
