The Matsuis are a Sacramento political dynasty. Democratic Rep. Doris Matsui has been in office since 2005, preceded by her husband, the late Congressman Bob Matsui, who held the seat for 26 years prior. This upcoming election, Rep. Matsui is facing a challenger within her own party - Sacramento City Councilmember Mai Vang. Maya C.
