Young Couple Gaming: Pokémon GO Podcast

Welcome to the future! When we recorded this it was the present, yet when you listen it will be the past. Time is hard, but what's not hard is getting excited the future of Pokémon GO! We have new Let's GO Eevee and Pikachu news to be concerned about and a lack of shiny Beldum during Community Hours. Also, Adam's favorite leaf turtle is finally in the game with some other new lame-o's, and we're getting spooked over the rumoured Halloween event! The future is now!

We're in the here and now talking about what's going on in the Pokémon GO world. We discuss how it's going to be sad to say goodbye to MewTwo, realize October is a month, and contemplate why there's a Psychic event (which we're all about!).

Before we can look to the future and the here and now, we've gotta look to the past or something like that. We get it – we missed some time, so we are doing a 3-part episode to say we're sorry. This is the past episode, where we look at everything that's happened in the past month. We meet our destiny with the new EX Raid Boss, we go nuts over the new Mythical Pokémon Meltan, huff and puff over the regional eggs, and discuss the lack of news on the interesting 24-hour and 48-hour events. Since it happened in the past too, we discuss Brandon Tan and our thoughts on how all of that went down.

Get pumped for the most not exciting news week in YCG:PGP history. You can trade on the cheap right now, spin some stops for Spinda, don't stress over Eevee Community Days, and get not excited about PVP. We make up for the boring news week with our charm and singing.

Not only do we have a new episode for you, but we have terrible jokes in it as well! This week, we correct our ever so wrong guess at the new Regi raid boss, but guess what? Registeel is just as boring as Regirock, so we spend more time getting excited about the Alola raid bosses instead and ponder who is giving Raichu all of these pancakes!? We also have a new update in Pokémon GO involving friend list sorting and lucky Pokémon, which Taylor has been unlucky with getting. Lastly, we get excited about Raikou and reminisce on the Zapdos Hours.

There might not be a lot of news this week, but that doesn't mean we can't talk your ear off. The Ultra Super Duper Secret Bonus Event is here, and it's actually pretty good. But have we hatched a Mr. Mime yet to complete our Kanto Pokédexes? Also in this episode, we talk about forgetting about Chikorita Community Day (like everyone else), a super small update in the game, and our new, very temporary segment, Who's that Flavormon?!

A promise is a promise, no matter how long it takes us to actually do it. We are back with our second episode this week! Listen in for a quick recap of the Summer Research Tour (Yokosuka, Stardust Event, and Moltres Hours), our mixed emotions on the Ultra Super Duper Bonus Unlock Event, the discovery that September is a month and the new Pocket Monsters it brings, and one last thing: Lucky Pokémon getting a little bit better.

We said we'd give you a Japan recap episode, and we're giving you a Japanese recap episode. Listen to us gush about Japan and our Pokémon GO adventures while there. Also you looking for that Volbeat? We got that Volbeat.

We are back after our 2 week hiatus, but hey life happens right? In this episode, we try to catch up on all the things that we have missed in the game! Some of those things include Eevee and Chikorita Community Day, the new and wonderful bugs found in the game, the long awaited Celery/Broccoli Special Research that is buggy as well, the exciting raid boss Ho-oh (we guess Regirock too), and wrap it all up talking about the Johto Festival and World Championships. If you like hot takes this will be the episode for you.
