From 3 small cantons this nation has grown into one of the most developed nations in the world, that also acts as the banking center for Europe. This nation is clean as can be, geographically stunning and very wealthy. This absolutely beautiful country is known around the world; This is Switzerland.

In West Africa there is a nation that has a history shared only by 2 other nations on Earth. This is a nation forged by the freedmen of the Americas and has embodied that history for centuries. This nation holds many people groups that have long histories in each of their regions. This nation has survived colonial abuses, restrictive regimes and a brutal civil war; despite all that this is one of the fastest growing countries in the world. This is Sierra Leone.  

This man is a seasoned graphic designer, a Western Michigan alumni, a husband and most important of all: My father. This man is my deepest inspiration for pursuing my dreams, he is the hardest working man I have ever met, and he is a legendary conversationalist. Above anything else he has been or ever will be this man has always been one thing to me, the greatest father in the world.

West Africa holds nations that are famous for their resilience throughout history, but today we take a look at one of its most underrated nations. This country has seen many different historical eras but none were as dark as its time known as the slave coast. Despite some horrible arcs in this country's story, the citizens here refuse to be wiped out of relevancy. The nation remains consistently involved in regional changes and is doing all it can to evolve with the times. This is Togo. 

This nation lies in the center of South America, next to the Rio De La Plata and in the heart of South American affairs. This nation has seen a lot of interaction with the region through wars, diplomacy and other affairs. The people of this nation hold a tight brother and sisterhood with each other because of the history they have united behind. No matter the great defeats and challenges this nation has faced, the people still rise to the occasion any chance they get. This is Paraguay. 

In the very heart of southeast asia is one of the last 5 communist nations on Earth. This nation has experienced millenia of recorded history, and with its location next to so many global powers; there is no end to how much influence has come in and out of this country. In the present, this nation is known for its history of being pulled into wars but not much else is remembered by those outside of the nation. Today, the whole story of his nation will be unveiled. This is Laos. 

Lying in the dry desert of central asia is a country with a long but underrated history. This nation is always overlooked but its culture has been around for over a millennia. This nation has seen ages of occupation but has never given up on holding on to its history. This is the least well known country in Central Asia, but let’s start to change that. This is Kyrgyzstan.

Lying in the underbelly of Central America is a small nation that has seen hundreds of interesting history filled years.  Cultures ranging from Europe and South America to North America have affected this nation in many ways. This land has seen corruption, and gang violence occur at the same time as cultural awakenings and social gains. This is El Salvador. 

This north African nation has seen more historical eras than most other countries on earth. The Phoenicians, Romans, Normans, and many other powers have all laid claim to this region at some point. This nation is in the pure heat of the Saharan Desert but still has one of the best water systems on earth. On top of all this was Muhhamar Ghaddafi, the ruler of the late 1900s that changed the future and outlook of Libya to this day. This is Libya.  

In the heart of the Balkans is the most loud, proud and influential member of the former Yugoslav union. This nation has seen nearly every major war you can think of: the Balkan wars, the Ottoman wars and both World Wars all left a lasting impact on this land. This land has produced Roman Emperors and has simultaneously produced modern All-Star athletes. This country has had a long and hard history which has formed a hard people, that are extremely prideful about who they are. This is Serbia.
