June 21, 2019WWE Could Be Stomping Themselves Into The GroundOnce again, it's another pay-per-view and it's time to preview and predict WWE Stomping Grounds going down this Sunday. I recorded this episode a little backwards as I wanted to do the preview and predictions as well as my reviews for NXT & NXT UK on this episode, but due to time constraints, I couldn't do it all today. Lucky for you, you'll be getting that episode this Saturday night, so I hope you forward to that. But before I get into the nonsense, I open the show talking about Lars Sullivan's knee injury and him being out for 6-9 months and an interesting take on comments CM Punk made on Twitter for asking why fans continue to watch something they hate. June 16, 2019The G1 Climax Developmental Brand Extravaganza: Father's Day EditionAfter the weirdness that was Episode 76.5, you know damn well I had to come back and drop one hell of an episode to end your Father's Day Weekend properly with Episode 77 of the Young Lion's Perspective! I kick off the episode by unveiling the 20 participants who will be competing in this year's G1 Climax and even make my predictions as to who will compete in the G1 Climax finals and who I predict will win the entire tournament. I then talk the highlights of not only last week's episode of NXT, but the last two episodes of NXT UK including a huge title match being announced, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch taking on Undisputed Era in tag team action, my thoughts on the Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender's Match to determine who will have a future shot against Walter for the WWE UK Championship and what I thought about the huge six-man tag match between Imperium and British Strong Style with a surprise return that I did not expect. June 13, 2019Episode 76.5: What Should've Been The Intro To Episode 77So....recording Episode 77 didn't go as well as I hoped it would. I had recorded the NXT Review twice and the first go-around ended with me having to take a phone call and losing the audio. The second time ended with losing the audio again as the review was uploading. The only segment I was able to save was the opening segment of the show where I talked about the abysmal rating Monday Night RAW received this week, speculation of Shane McMahon returning Kofi Kingston amd becoming the new WWE Champion, my thoughts on that, and why you should take that with a humongous grain of salt, and I ended the segment discussing an op-ed from Kevin Carroll of The Chairshot and his opinion on the "fans being The Authority" promo from six months ago. June 03, 2019The Good, The Bad & The Ugly That Was NXT Takeover XXVAs always, we're off the heels of NXT Takeover XXV and that means another installment of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly that was NXT Takeover XXV. Of course, I break down the moments of the show that I loved, hated and made me cringe during what happened this past Saturday night. But before I break down what happend over the weekend, I open the show by talking about an article from Wrestling Inc. discussing Jon Moxley's appearance on the PW Torch podcast with Wade Keller. In this particular article, Moxley goes over what happened hours before SummerSlam 2018 and a certain part-timer who convinced Vince McMahon to scrap the original ending of the show with one that he had for himself. I talk about the article and give you my thoughts on the person that pulled this stunt and why I think it was bad for business. May 30, 2019A Barnburner Of A Go-Home Show & Storm vs Samuels Fight For The GoldWhat do you get when you mix a rematch between Mia Yim and Bianca Belair, a crazy main event segment, the debut of a new stable, and an NXT UK Women's Championship match? You get Episode 75 of the Young Lion's Perspective! In this episode of the podcast, we're reviewing last night's episodes of NXT & NXT UK including Kushida taking on Drew Gulak, a kickass promo from the Velveteen Dream, a preview of the Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender Match for a future shot at the WWE UK Championship and Toni Storm defending her NXT UK Women's Championship against Nina Samuels. May 29, 2019NXT Takeover XXV Preview & PredictionsYour two for one Wednesday special concludes with Episode 74 of the Young Lion's Perspective! In this episode of the podcast, we're talking NXT Takeover XXV as I talk about the evolution of where NXT began as a weird competition that included names like Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan and Heath Slater to where it is today with the 25th Takeover special that will eminate from Bridgeport, CT this Saturday night. And of course, there would be no preview without the predictions as I attempt (usually terribly) to pick who I think will have their hand raised this weekend. Before we kick that off, I begin the show by discussing the biggest news of the day. In this case, that would the most recent episode of the Talk Is Jericho Podcast that featured Jon Moxley days before Double Or Nothing and an article from Wrestling Inc., going over the main highlights of the podcast and what he said about the exact day of when he wanted to leave WWE and one particular line in a promo that he did not want to say about Roman Reigns around the time his leukemia had returned. May 29, 2019The Good & Somewhat Bad That Was AEW Double Or NothingAEW's first official pay-per-view is in the books and on Episode 73 of the Young Lion's Perspective, I finally get the chance to break down the entire show including my thoughts on Jon Moxley's debut in AEW, the tag team and women's divisions, the unveiling of the AEW World Championship, my choice for Match of the Night, and of course, what grade I gave for the show as a whole. Before we get into the good stuff, I talk about an article from Deadspin about how AEW Double Or Nothing was a mission statement to the world. We will break down every match on the card and I will give my predictions for this Saturday night's card. May 20, 2019The Good, The Bad & The Ugly That Was Money In The BankMoney In The Bank has now come and gone and of course, you know what time it is. It's time to break down the good, the bad and the unfortunate ugly that was Money In The Bank last night. But before I get into that, I open up the show by offering my condolences to the Massaro family after the news of Ashley Massaro's passing on Friday. I also talk about the big news coming out of AEW with PAC vs Hangman Page being cancelled due to creative differences.
