Ever used ChatGPT to generate content ideas but ended up getting ones that are pretty meh? Been there, done that. I've tried many different ways of optimizing the outputs from ChatGPT but one that I found to work best for me is actually pretty simple: to talk to ChatGPT as if I was doing a podcast, in a human-to-human way. In this episode, I'll share with you how I asked ChatGPT to create different personas and tailor questions for those specific personas to generate more meaningful, relevant content ideas.

We started off by branding ourselves to be “as pretty as Webflow” and while that might have a nice ring to it, it eventually led us to stray further away from our initial goal and to overpromise. We learned some pretty important lessons that I think would be helpful whether you're a product guy in a big team or an indie hacker.
