Anyone can ask the question, “what is your favorite cut of beef to eat?” But I have never been asked the question, “what is your favorite cut of beef to cook?” And honestly, I have two different answers to those questions. But, today, I’m going against “the grain” ....see what I did there....and I am going to answer the latter.

Today is all about the “where”, WHERE is my favorite place?!?! Some people may roll their eyes and think this will sound so cliché. But, like everything I share with you on Ranch Raised, I feel this with all my heart, with every fiber of my being.

I think what my neighbors and I do is a noble profession. We care deeply about the land. Most of the time our livestock’s wellbeing comes before our own. We see value and purpose to all living creatures. And at the heart of it all, we feed people. We grow food to feed our neighbors, our country, and even the world.
