The Golden Spike Comedy Festival was amazing! Our friend and comedian ANDY GOLD came to town from LA to participate and kill! Your Creativity's own Dylan had the opportunity to sit down with him in the backroom of one of the festival venues. We talked comedy, LA & the return of his Big Wet Podcast!

B I O G R A P H Y

Andy Gold lives in Los Angeles and writes and tells awesome jokes. The winner of the Salt Lake Comedy Festival, Andy has also been accepted in festivals and competitions all over the country, including the Boston Comedy Festival, Ventura Comedy Festival, Rocky Mountain Laugh Off, San Diego Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Ashville Off, Trial by Laughter Comedy Festival and Idaho Laugh Fest. Andy draws much of his comedy from being a recovering heroin addict. Which led to him being part of the 2017 Addicts Comedy Tour, a 56 city tour across the United States, Canada, and the UK. Andy's awesome jokes have also appeared on Comedy Time TV, Comcast, Hulu, and Nick Mom (which is impressive since Andy is definitely not a mom). A prolific writer, Andy’s material runs the gamut from talking about being a recovering addict to dating, to family, to working at his dad’s produce stand, and it’s all tied together by one thing, and one thing only: really big laughs.

We discuss how everything got started on the K-UTE Radio station at the University of Utah, the current atmosphere of radio and Sascha's perfectionism.

We also talk movies, tell the Oscars to fuck off and so much more.

WARNING! The curse word count definitely when up in this episode!

CHRIS BODILY

Chris is an incredible local artist and a great friend. I caught up with him after his panel that discussed frequently asked questions for artists and illustrators.

Chris was previously a blog guest: HERE

PAUL DRAPER

Next up, I caught up with the King of Comic Con (IMHO), Mentalist Paul Draper, who had the opportunity to interview Millie Bobby Brown (from Netflix’s Stranger Things, Hell’s Kitchen) and Machete himself, Danny Trejo. We also chat about his other panels and shows that he was involved in. Paul was also our first blog guest when Your Cre8tivity was in its infancy back in January.

Paul was our first blog guest: HERE

HUSTON HUDDLESTON

Lastly, I caught up with our other first, Huston Huddleston, who joined us via telephone in our first official podcast. Huston shared updates of the Sci-Fi & Horror Museums, his thoughts on Star Trek Beyond and some incredible experiences he has been able to enjoy while touring with the bridge!

Since Steve won't bring chocolates to the show, we bring the show to the chocolates! Steve & Dylan welcome BILL ALLRED from x96's Radio From Hell! We explore Bill's journey from his start in theater, his start in radio and what's been happening since.

Enjoy the conversation and thanks for listening!

And don't blame Blume for the audio. :)
