The first time that I traveled to California was to attend Marine Corps Boot Camp! For three whole months, I endured some of the most grueling training in the US military. Though there was one moment during boot camp that stands out in my memory. And it happened during the most difficult training event that Marine Corps Recruits face. That event is called... The Crucible. A rigorous 54-hour long challenge designed to push recruits beyond their physical and mental limits. But at the end of it all, they become Marines!

During this insane year that has been 2020. We've all faced our own crucibles. In this episode of Travel Reflections, I talk about how I made it through the Crucible of Marine Corps Boot Camp. And how the lessons that I've learned from that experience could help you overcome your own crucible that you may be facing!
