William, Princes of Wales, "won't worry about who does what in the royal family" during King Charles III's prolonged illness as Queen Camilla slowly but surely takes over the King's "duties." "In due course, if destiny does not decide otherwise, he will become King William V. Being fair-minded, kind, and compassionate - characteristics inherited in full from his mother - he will know that Camilla would have been content to remain his father's mistress, as she loved her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles, who remains a close friend to her."
On the Wednesday, March 6, episode of the popular reality show, Goldsmith was speaking with fellow contestant and former TV personality Fern Britton, who shared with him: "My feeling is that William must be furious now to have suddenly the weight of it all on his head and his shoulders." Goldsmith replied: "I genuinely think that they should take the titles away," seemingly referring to Harry and Meghan's Sussex titles. Britton puzzlingly asked the businessman to explain what he meant, to which Goldsmith answered: "Multi-millionaires," before adding: "That's why I get really a bit narky when they say Kate's a commoner.
"Meghan doesn't want to go back to acting, but she's terrified that if things are not patched up with the royal family Harry will cease to be a brand asset and brand Sussex will suffer, so she is putting out feelers now that both Kate and Charles are ill," a source told an outlet, referring to Kate and Chares' health challenges. "While Harry might not be next in line to the throne, he's not that far down the line of succession, so his importance to the royal family shouldn't be overlooked," Harrold explained, adding, "I think it's within all of their benefits to actually resolve these ongoing issues."
Although Prince Harry reached out to King Charles III amid His Majesty's cancer struggle, Kate, Princess of Wales, has no interest in seeing or talking to her brother-in-law during her own health battle.
Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's engagement announcement in late 2017, the former actress has frequently upended what it means to be a British royal. This led photographer Samir Hussein, who famously photographed Harry and a blue midi dress-clad Meghan at the 2020 Endeavor Awards, to label the ex-actress as "quite unusual," when compared to the likes of Kate, Princess of Wales or Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
It is rumored that she and Harry's daughter, Lilibet Diana, who is a princess of royal blood and seventh-in-line to Great Britain's throne, only met her grandfather, the King, once, during the summer of 2022.
If he wasn't still Counsellor of State then that would be a very different matter," Charles III's former butler Grant Harrold counter-explained "The King has or definitely had a close relationship with Harry - if this is true, I can't understand why the King wouldn't want to share his plans." "Charles is also aware that, as future king, William is at the heart of the succession planning that is taking place right now - officials had assumed Charles would remain healthy at least into his mid-eighties before succession planning would need to begin, but it has now begun and indicates perhaps that Charles' cancer is more dangerous than we have been led to believe," royal author Tom Quinn told a publication.
Princess Anne's husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, sported a black eye, as he stepped out to attend the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's 200th anniversary at Westminster Abbey on Monday, March 4. "Well, I think the 'slimmed-down' [monarchy] was said in a day when there were a few more people around to make that seem like a justifiable comment," the Princess Royal shared during an interview before Charles III's coronation.
