Mr. and Mrs. Windsor? King Charles 'Does Not Want to Humiliate' Meghan Markle and Prince Harry by Removing Their Royal Titles
When it comes to permanently "damaged" public profiles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have more to fear than the royal family, thanks to Omid Scobie's Endgame "translation error." "Presumably Meghan and Harry have given a solemn undertaking that this should never see the light of day, and given their absolute horror at invasions of privacy, it is frankly astonishing that they haven't already instructed Schillings [their legal team] to issue injunctive proceedings against Omid Scobie.
Funnily enough, a year or two earlier - I wasn't in the office at the time - Meghan's agent or publicist had brought her in to just meet editors and see if there was something to do.

"On my life, on my family's life," Scobie pleaded before adding, "No, it's serious because I feel hurt by some of the things I've seen that have suggested a conspiracy theory, that this is some kind of publicity stunt, and 'I'm in cahoots with my pal [Meghan]' and nonsense like that because it feeds into something that couldn't be further from the truth."

Under the Radar Feud: Prince William and King Charles Rift Has 'Only Heightened' in Recent Months
"Presumably Meghan and Harry have given a solemn undertaking that this should never see the light of day, and given their absolute horror at invasions of privacy, it is frankly astonishing that they haven't already instructed Schillings [their legal team] to issue injunctive proceedings against Omid Scobie.
King Charles III made his first public comments since another royal race controversy erupted over Omid Scobie's book, Endgame. The royal commentator continued: "[It would] probably be best if a statement was put out clearing this up once and for all, but King Charles III and Prince William had 'maintained a dignified silence' through the Oprah Winfrey interview in March 2021, the Netflix documentary last December, Harry's memoir Spare in January and now this, and I can't see the policy changing."
Aside from Harry's relationship with Charles, Scobie revealed Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton modeled their royal wardrobes around their mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
