"Kate and William are making inroads into America, which wasn't a given because of what Harry and Meghan said in the Oprah interview, what was said in their Netflix documentary, and of course in Spare," broadcaster Sarah Hewson dished in November last year.
This led royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams to tell an outlet, "If you consider in the past four years they've conducted a guerrilla war against the royal family, and they've done enormous damage to it. In light of all the scandals and drama since "Megxit" in early 2020, Fitzwilliams added, "Every single royal event that involved the Sussexes, you'd have the focus on them, and it would, in reality, be completely impractical. Although Harry is allegedly still on speaking terms via phone with the King, when it comes to regaining trust with Prince William and Kate, Princess of Wales, the ex-working royal may want to move on.
For many, this comes as no surprise, since in the run-up to his 2018 nuptials, Harry did tell veteran royal fashion designer and the late Queen's longtime dresser, Angela Kelly, that what "Meghan wants, Meghan gets."
Catherine, Princess of Wales, truly has royalty's ancient "healing touch" thanks to her "selfless" act of reaching out to Prince Harry on his 40th birthday, September 15. The royal source added, "She (Kate) told William in no uncertain terms that this is not the time for resentment, they needed to show the world that love and family are front and center of their values, but more importantly she wanted Harry to have this message on his big day." One royal insider feels that the message, which did not happen in 2022 or 2023, nor did Harry wish William a happy 40th in June 2022, was likely due to the California transplant's big day indeed being a milestone.
"I do believe there is a part of Harry that does want to return to royal duties, as he was brought up that way and knows how much good he is able to do when he carries out royalengagements," former royal butler Grant Harrold exclusively told The Royal Observer on behalf of Spin Genie. "I think there is definitely room to return and carry out royal duties for Harry with the backing of his father, but they'd also need to ascertain whether the public want them back as the monarchy is very much influenced by the Great British people," Harrold concluded. Veteran royal author and historian Hugo Vickers told royal editor Matt Wilkinson on "The Sun's Royal Exclusive" podcast early that month that the rebel Duke is currently overflowing with "anger" and an intense fear of losing his Duchess, but this "dysfunction" cannot continue much longer.

In the future queen's recent "emotional" video announcing the successful end of her cancer treatments, HRH's new eternity band, likely a gift from Prince William, could briefly be seen on Kate's left ring finger. The future queen is officially cancer-free and shared in the "moving" new clip on @kensingtonroyal's official social accounts, "As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. After what seemed like "endless months" to royal watchers, the Princess of Wales finally revealed the good news in the clip, where HRH also highlighted how she was able to reconnect with her family during treatment.
The Duke and Duchess promoted "The Parent's Network," which according to the couple's website, is a "global community [that] aims to provide crucial support to parents whose children have suffered from the harmful effects of social media, from facing near-fatal harm, managing ongoing mental health difficulties, or experiencing the tragic loss of a child."
King Charles III's reign turned two years old on Sunday, September 8, and His Majesty's 24 months as monarch thus far have been "nothing short of chaotic and even a tad bit depressing," one royal insider observed. Apart from a cancer diagnosis, Kate, Princess of Wales' former battle with the disease, and growing resistance to the Crown, the King has also had to deal with his youngest son, Prince Harry. "The King has always been upbeat, not once has he allowed himself to question the future, he's dealt with everything head-on," a source spilled. They continued, "Through all the trials and tribulations the King has had to deal with this year, for himself and his family, I've never seen a person so positive and upbeat about the future. Although His Majesty is busy as Britain and several other nations' head of state, but themonarch is reportedly dedicated to mending the rift between his sons, Princes William and Harry. "The King's death will immediately make William the new monarch, and reports now reflect a potential Montecito meltdown when the news one day hits.
Prince Andrew is so determined to emerge victorious in his feud over the Royal Lodge with King Charles, that the disgraced Duke is "letting" the property "rot" in the process. "For King Charles, forcing Andrew to move to Frogmore solves several problems at once - it sends a message to Harry that, as a private citizen and no longer a working royal, he will never be allowed back to Frogmore," royal author Tom Quinn dished in June.
