The summer I moved to Montréal (late September 2022) turned quickly into the summer I moved back to Vancouver in 2023 after a year of experiencing a full life in the vibrant city of Quebec. In this episode, I share my living experience in Montréal and I get VERY personal about why I decided to move back home.

My sister and I had a wonderful experience in Montréal and we cannot wait for the day to visit again, but we agreed that moving back was the best decision for us both. I felt like a complete failure, but I learned that that was never the case. It's strength that allows us to move forward even if sometimes we have to give up on something we thought would be good.

Lina, thank you for making Montréal a warm and fun city for us, you exposed us to different experiences and treated us like family as always.

I don't hear about Cervical Dystonia often, so as a woman in her thirties who has been living with it for nearly a decade, I am hoping to raise awareness about this neurological disorder. I talk about the impact of Cervical Dystonia on my life, the type of treatment I'm working on, and what the future looks like for me. I am trying to do what I can to stay healthy and positive while I try to find the best treatment plan. Life may knock me down, but I always get back up. This outlook on life has remained with me ever since childhood. In this episode, I share a story about a time long ago (back in elementary school) when I destroyed my two front teeth. I hope this makes you laugh and maybe question the weird things we were made to do as kids. 

September may mean something different to us all, but I like to think of it as a month full of hope. Now that we are restarting regular life again after a restful summer, I am ready to try to new things, read more and remain committed to my goals. The fall is a perfect time for a restart. September also reminds me of responsibility, so I share two very brief stories about irresponsible behavior. I don’t have the time or mental capacity to look out for everyone or everything, so I’m trying to focus on what is most important to me for now. Wherever you are, remember to take one step at a time, try to take breaks in between work, and do the things you love. Let’s remain hopeful in this chaotic world together. 

I’m grounded from spending unnecessarily. No more wasting money away on things I want, it’s time to save my funds so that future me can thank me later. In this episode I explain how I hate credit cards (because of my terrible experience with them) and how I feel like the only person who hasn’t been saving funds. Some lessons are learned later on in life and this is one of them for me, but as they say, better late then never. I am slowly starting to feel like I have control over my money again, thanks to tough love. I, a woman in her thirties, needed this in order to turn over a new leaf.

In this episode, I speak about my allergic reaction that occurred during my first soccer match in 2025 and how I learned a very valuable lesson from it.
