David A. Ditch, a policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation, focuses on federal spending and fiscal policy. He is a research associate in the Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget. He has appeared on local radio stations across the country, and his work also been featured on FoxBusiness.com, the Los Angeles Times, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and many other publications. Prior to joining Heritage, David was a Budget Analyst for the Senate Budget Committee where he oversaw appropriations and agriculture. He has also worked for the Senate Small Business Committee, Rep. Joel Griffith earned his juris doctor at the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, with a dual emphasis in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Federal Income Taxation; he is currently a member of the State Bar of California. At Chapman, he was a charter board member and treasurer of the Investment Law Society, served as a charter member and vice-president of the Chapman chapter of the California Republican Lawyers Association, and competed on both the mock trial and mediation teams.

Following law school, Joel managed an equities trading account utilizing market neutral strategies. As an attorney, he worked with Heideman Nudelman Kalik, PC in Washington, D.C. Zack Smith joins The Heritage Foundation as a legal fellow in the Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies after serving for several years as an assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Florida. Prior to that, he spent two years as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, which he joined after clerking for the Hon. Emmett R. Cox on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Electric Cars

Katie Tubb is a senior policy analyst for energy and environmental issues in the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies at The Heritage Foundation. Tubb researches and writes on subjects such as nuclear energy, climate change policies, and the benefits of free market environmentalism.

Tubb writes and contributes research to Heritage’s Issue Briefs and Backgrounder policy papers. She is a regular contributor to the think tank’s multimedia news organization, The Daily Signal.  

Her work also is featured in other national outlets such as The Washington Times, National Review, National Journal, Nuclear Townhall, and Real Clear Energy.

Tubb joined Heritage in 2012 as a research assistant in the Roe Institute. She previously was an intern there as well as in the office of then-Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind.

Rose Quint is NAHB Assistant Vice President for Survey Research. Quint holds a B.S. in Economics/International Business from Old Dominion University as well as a Master’s degree in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Her responsibilities include planning and conducting industry surveys, specifically in the areas of builder sentiment, remodeling, housing affordability, and AD&C financing issues. Quint is also responsible for special research projects, such as studies on builders’ profitability, consumer preferences, construction costs and membership census.

Bill Bullard joined R-CALF USA as the organization’s first Chief Executive Officer at national headquarters in Billings, Mont., on April 9, 2001.

Bullard has testified on behalf of R-CALF USA members before Congress and executive branch agencies, has managed numerous lawsuits on behalf of the organization, and is the organization’s registered lobbyist.

Bullard, formerly a cow/calf rancher in Perkins County, S.D., served as the Executive Director of the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission from 1995-2001. He has a B.S. in Political Science from Black Hills State University and completed a year of graduate studies at the University of South Dakota.

Darren Winston serves as Head of the Books, Maps & Manuscripts Department, and is Freeman’s representative for the New York, Connecticut, and Western Massachusetts areas. Born in Chicago and raised in New Jersey, Mr. Winston moved to New York City in 1988, and began his career as a vintage bookseller in 1995. He spent more than ten years selling at book fairs and flea markets, as well as privately, before opening his eponymous bookshop in 2009. Located in Sharon, CT, Darren Winston, Bookseller offered vintage books, prints, and fine art, and hosted in-store events including book signings and art shows.
