Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Nourish the skin barrier and help maintain proper moisture levels.
Food Sources vs. SupplementsWhole Foods: Most people get adequate nutrients through a balanced diet containing lean proteins, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and fruits.
Dietary Supplements: Products like Nature Made Hair Skin and Nails can help address specific shortfalls, but you should consult a healthcare professional before starting a new regimen. Excess intake of certain vitamins (like Vitamin A) can cause adverse effects, including hair loss.

“Going Nuts over Nuts”
2 parts…same word, 2 topics.
Why are people going nuts?
A little tongue and cheek today…I’ll be giving my opinion on how the changes in the policies in our government and culture are making people more erratic and “nuts”.
An addition to last weeks show on Food Medicine:
The Food: The seed meaning comes from an old Germanic word (hnutu) used for thousands of years to describe hard-shelled fruits.
The Head: Around the late 1800s, people joked that a person’s head looked round and hard like a walnut or hazelnut.
The Behavior: Phrases like “off your nut” meant your head or brain was loose, broken, or empty, which eventually led to calling an eccentric or unstable person a “nut.”
