Alright today - we go deep, I hope is that this episode leaves you inspired to let go of all the stuff that holds you back so that you can be propelled forward to do the things that matter the most to you.
This episode I interview the founders of Chasing Sunrise @chasingsunrise, Gordon Swenson @gswenno and Julian Deschutter @deshoots, two legends who are inspiring people to "Make every day count with every Sunrise".
These guys have built an incredible company and community that is built around adventure, epic experiences, creating memories that last a lifetime and sharing it with awesome people.
The reason why I invited Julian and Gordon onto the podcast and why it only makes sense for them to be the first on the show is because they are a living example of two guys that saw the need to tap into that thing that lights them up after noticing that they lacked fulfilment in what they were doing ... so they quit their jobs and built a company around doing what makes them happy every single day... and in the process, created something incredible that inspires and brings joy and adventure to thousands of other people.

QUOTES:
"At the core of it comes down to the potential that lives inside of you and the people you surround yourself with ... and for us Chasing Sunrise has become a larger thing that embodies both the pursuit of the individual becoming what they can and that fire that lives inside of people..." [11:54] - Julian DeShutter
"You don't always have to look for that happy feeling of what do I enjoy doing the most?! What's the pain inside there because that's just stagnant energy that you got and its clearly tied to something that you care about otherwise it wouldn't be there in the first place" [19:39] - Gordon Swenson
"It takes a lot of effort to keep that stuff bottled in (pain and negative emotion), so you're taking away from your intellectual capacity, you're taking away from your creative capacity, but then once you have that freedom, wow things really start to open up [30:43]
