The Young Hoteliers Summit organizes a big event every year: The Summit, inviting professionals of the industry and students all around the world to have the role of delegates. In this podcast, we invite two delegates of this year’s summit Rebecca Zimmer from the Hotel management school in Maastricht and Leo Tran of the UNLV College of Hospitality in Nevada. They will tell us who they are, what made them get into hospitality, skills they think are most important in this world, and their role in the Summit.
In management schools it is common to find a lot of students with entrepreneurial mindsets with ideas of managing startups after their studies. However, not everyone has the courage to start their own company with friends in their first year of college. On this episode, we have invited three guests, Lucas, Frederik and Guillaume who has done exactly that. They will share about their startup “Trinity Cocktail”, how they created it in the first year at EHL, and some of their experiences. Internships, something all hospitality students have to go through. The first things that come to mind are hotels and restaurants. However, internships in the hospitality sector are not limited to that. In this episode, we invited two EHL students, Ioana and Ines, who did theirs in a private clinic and an NGO, respectively.
