Lindsday has photographed HUNDREDS of weddings, and she has the timeline planning process down to a science (I'm not kidding - you should see her spreadsheets)! And because the timeline is down to a science, she is able to use her creativity and her incredible eye for photographer to create absolute works of art.  Listen to her talk about how to hack your wedding day schedule, to get the best results with your photographer, and have the least stress while you're doing it!

085: Wedding Horror Story! When you're planning your wedding, you expect that the vendors you hire will perform the job. You even place a certain amount of trust in them, that they will be able to fulfill the services that they agree to provide. But what happens when one of the vendors completely fails to do what you've hired them for? And then who does that responsibility fall on? Lindsay shares a story this week of a wedding she was photographing, where this situation happened, and she had to step in to save the day!

082: We visited with another of our great local vendors! Liz Thees is the Director of Sales at The Pinnacle, a fantastic wedding and event venue in Toledo, OH. Liz and her husband have been wedding industry pros for more than 35 years, and have owned the Pinnacle for the last 20! She gave us a lot of history of the venue, as well as some of the wedding industry trends she's seen come and go over her time. Liz brings a genuine joy and passion to the table when she works with couples, and it shows!

Lindsay tells a horror story about a wedding reception she was photographing, where one of the vendors decided to do their own thing. They didn't communicate with anyone else, and decided to spontaneously modify the reception timeline, and then began directing the guests!  Needless to say, it caused more than a few frustrations for the other vendors! This is the horror story that Lindsay says "this was the worst!"
