In a week when two BigLaw firms are in the news for some typical BigLaw BS, this week's episode is a reminder that:

1. staying in a toxic situation so you can be an example to people that look like you isn't helpful to you or the people you're trying to help.

2. staying at a job out of a sense of loyalty is misguided because it will never show you the same loyalty in return.

Be clear, be intentional, and don't be swayed by false promises.
