In this episode Josh and I discuss the challenges of leading at the company level. I recorded this episode before I decided to broaden the focus of season 2 so this conversation does discuss officer leadership more than others. Even if you aren't an officer, you'll get a lot from this conversation.

I had the absolute joy and fortune of discussing leadership with CSMs (R) Jay and Alicia Dunn. They both achieved incredible success as NCOs ultimately retiring with more than 25 years of service each. They discussed how to balance life as a married Army couple and how they view the NCO's role in maintaining and improving the profession.
This was such a great conversation with two incredible people who fully supported each other throughout two successful careers.

In this episode I go outside of the Army bubble and speak with a subject matter expert on resiliency. LtCol Retfkosky previously ran the US Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) resiliency program, working with elite Airmen on all domains of their fitness.
These concepts apply to everyone and understanding them gives leaders another tool in their kit bag to better assist those they lead.
LtCol Retkofsky embodies these principles throughout her life. Read her book to know more!
