Application Questions:

1. Read Hebrews 13:17 and 1 Thessalonians 5:12. Should you desire that a specific pastor is keeping watch over your soul? How can he do this effectively if your only involvement in church is Sunday morning? What are the tangible benefits of committing to a local body of Christ through getting involved in Community Groups?

2. Read 1 Corinthians 12:15-17. Describe what a person with this mindset might say when pressed on the need to serve the body of Christ. Do you feel you are currently serving the body in a role of maximum effectiveness? If not, what might be hindering you from being more effective in serving?

3. Read 1 Peter 4:10 and Romans 12:6a. How is a person's refusal to serve the body robbing God of worship that He is rightly due? How can a person still serve even during seasons of suffering, or busyness, or spiritual dryness? What can it be helpful to continue to serve even through the more difficult stretches?

4. Read Romans 12:5. What is at least one way you plan to apply this sermon as you anticipate with us the type of church we can become if we are truly all-in?
