Acts 2:42-47 It was 50 days after Passover… Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit comes. Peter, one of the disciples, is together in Jerusalem with the rest. The Israelites were just cut to the heart by what they had heard… Peter had just stated boldly in chapter 2 of Acts, verse 36, Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom-you-crucified. Can you imagine being told that. That the One that had been promised, Jesus, sent to earth by God, and you crucified Him…ouch. So, they ask Peter and the other apostles in verse 37, Brothers, what shall we do? To which Peter responds, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. And then they were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls… Now what…?

Three weeks in and we continue with our deep-dive study of John chapter 4. We are again joined by my good friend and Pastor Travis Voeltz. On this week's episode, Travis and I start getting into the nitty gritty of this chapter in the book of John and the Lord spoke directly to our hearts as the Lords message came through loud and clear. Welcome back to Your Life My Life and this week's episode took one heck of a twist... I had planned a whole show chock-full of notes and bible verse but God directed me and my guest co-host this week John Enright in a whole different direction. We ended up discussing the call to ministry. I speak with Brother John a man who was called by God at the tender age of 8! John began his ministry at 18!!
