The Light Between

Your Mind Can Build a Rocket—Why Can’t It Find Peace?

Listen Later

Beloved,

We live in both our energy world and our physical world.

For example, right off the bat, we use the internet right after waking up, not even noticing it's like joining a shared mind that's now a normal in our daily live.

In exploring our inner thoughts and outer space, humanities next big steps as we study consciousness - is how powerful each person's mind really is- and how it effects the “all across time and space.”

We all experience this.

It's a universal human phenomenon that has effected cultures through all of time.

Going deeper into the “why” comes from over 20 years of serving clients, as I witness a stone castle around the heart chakra as the basis of all transformation to break open to allow the light in - with self compassion.

Our analytical MIND and world’s hierarchy make love "scarce."

Many times, depending on our programming, genuine love without an agenda registers in our system as boring, weak, deceiving, soft or even be seen as threatening.

At the root, it's because it doesn’t match the pictures in our mind because our nervous system's set up for “love” to feel like fight or flight and protect.

Genuine love can (and often) is actually present already all around us. But we have yet to recognize it because we don’t even have a reference point for what that is. Nor do we trust it fully.

Our system reads it as “too good to be true” or in some cases we overlook it completely

But what if you could learn to let go?

What if you could quiet the mental chatter and find a sense of inner peace?

Understanding the Mind and the subconscious blueprint is critical.

Think of your mind as a still lake.

It's a vast field of energy, always present, but often disturbed by the waves of our thoughts and emotions.

When we cling to these thoughts, we create ripples and turbulence, preventing us from seeing the clear, calm water beneath.

The key is to understand that the mind itself is not the problem.

It's a powerful tool, capable of great creativity and insight.

The issue arises when we become identified with our thoughts, believing them to be our true selves.

The Trap of Clinging and grasping will make or break our growth.

We create suffering by resisting reality.

We resist the things we don't like, cling to the things we do, and worry about things that might happen.

This resistance is what fuels our anxiety and keeps us trapped in a cycle of negativity.

The Path to Freedom truly is Acceptance.

The answer always lies in acceptance.

Accepting reality, even the parts we don't like, is crucial.

It doesn't mean we condone everything, but it means we stop fighting against it.

When we accept things as they are, we open ourselves to a greater sense of peace and clarity.

We hold onto the things that bother us the most so we don't forget them.

And guess what?

They keep bothering us.

That's really smart, isn't it?

We build a picture album of everything that freaked us out.

How do we get rid of worry?

Not by controlling the world, but by learning to honor, respect, and accept reality.

The problem isn't that it happened; it's that we couldn't handle it happening.

If we could handle it, we wouldn't store it.

"I saw a snake.

Thank you, snake.

You didn't bite me.

I learned something."

We become a knower of snakes.

We have a choice: make our lives about avoiding snakes, or learn to handle them.

Spiritual evolution is the ability to handle reality.

Stop resisting.

Resistance is what locks the scars, the patterns, in place.

Acceptance is the opposite of resistance.

Relax, accept, honor, respect, appreciate.

Open.

Let it go through.

You still have to deal with things, but you'll be clearer, less reactive.

You'll have more time and energy if you're not busy complaining and resisting.

The mind is a great gift.

It built rocket ships, flew to the moon.

But it wasn't meant to fix the mess you made inside of it.

The answer is to stop misusing your mind.

Don't store things.

Let them pass through.

Memory is a natural function; these scars are not.

They're suppressed, resisted experiences.

Start small.

The weather.

You can't control it, so accept it.

"If it rains, we'll do this; if not, we'll do that."

Fun is fun.

Stop defining success and failure by whether things match what you want.

Life is life.

Handling Reality with Grace is the goal.

Think of it like this: you can't control the weather, but you can control how you react to it.

If it rains, you can choose to stay inside and enjoy a good book, or you can put on your raincoat and go for a walk.

The same applies to all aspects of life.

We can't control everything that happens to us, but we can control our reactions.

By choosing acceptance and resilience, we can navigate life's challenges with grace and ease.

Here are the Key Takeaways:

You are not your mind: Your mind is a tool, not your identity.

Clinging creates suffering: Resisting reality only intensifies our problems.

Acceptance is key: Accepting things as they are brings peace and clarity.

You have the power to choose: You can choose to react to life with grace and resilience.
