Jesus Christ came to earth to reach the lost and to bestow salvation to mankind, both Jews and Gentiles. Therefore, no matter how sinful a person thinks he/she is, no matter how broken, salvation is available to him/her. One look at Jesus can make a difference. Look to Him today and live!

Every person sometimes go through desert places. This is a place where it seems as if all certainties and securities have been stripped away and we are left with only enough to keep us going. However, God can allow us to blossom abundantly in our deserts. He can provide for us an oasis of grace and guess what HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT.

Man was born in sin and shapen in iniquity. He therefore has a sin problem. Since sin is rebellion against God, he has a sin account which he needs to settle. HOW can that be done? He must acknowledge that he is a sinner and needs a Saviour. He MUST confess his sins and repent of his ways. He needs to be buried in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the removal of sins and the answer of a good conscience towards God. He needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Many persons are caught up with the notion of self and therefore boast in their accomplishments or the things they consider to be noteworthy about themselves. However, if we brag about ourselves we cannot boast about Jesus. Instead of bragging about ourselves we should talk about Jesus and His love. He deserves the praise in all things. Every day that we live we must look for opportunities to turn the spotlight on Jesus.

In our lives we all experience mountain top experiencesbut we also have days when we are in the valley. They valley seems dark, we doubt our faith and feel God has forgotten us. However, in those times we can still call on God because He is not only God on the mountain. He is the same God in the valley. We can still pray to Him because He answers prayers from the valley.

Noone is immune to setbacks. They come in various sizes and colours. A setback delays your progress or reverses some of the progress that was made. Setbacks , however, do have an upside. They can be great and can have tremendous spiritual benefit. They can develop in us that patience which we would never learn if everything was going well. All we need to do is to continue to trust God, wait on Him and know that He is always with us.

When peace like a river attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul.

Many times we try to do life on our own with a meager result not knowing that God already has every detail of our lives worked out. So what do we need to do? We need to listen to His instructions and follow the guidance of His word so that He can transform our hearts and lives. May the Lord grant us the grace to go deeper in Him.

As we traverse the roadways of life we often find ourselves surrounded by situations which feel like deep waters...grief, sorrow, broken drwams and relationships. However, we need to remember that God is with us in every situation. He still hears our prayers,and will respond with his care. When trouble overtakes us we can let go and allow Him to take over.
