In the book of Ruth we learn today of Ruth's commitment to her mother-in-law, her people and her God. This mirrors Jesus' love for humanity. Though He had no sin of His own, He was willing to take on our sins by His death on the cross. He suffered, bled and died to give us eternal life. Many times we question the promises of God as spelled out in the Bible whether they are for us or someone else. Why? The things that are happening to us do not match those promises. However, we can always rest in the faithfulness of The Trustworthy God. He has promised that through His Son Jesus Christ we will triump. We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
